Actually, there are fewer than 10 "acceptable" things in the 10
Commandments. There are a lot of "Thou shalt nots .." among them.
Then religious fanatics add all sorts of additional prohibitions,
sins, etc. You almost have to be a religious scholar to figure out
what you can do without being condemned to eternal damnation.
According to some, watching the Mormon Tabernacle Choir is forbidden. Who knew?
It reminds me of the FCC's indecency "standards." You can't know
something is forbidden until you've done it and get hit with a fine.
It's this sort of undefined religious rulemaking that scares off
mainstream advertisers.
Compared to some of the stuff I've been sent off list, Fred Phelps
("Kill the Fags" preacher) almost seems sane.
