Speaking of New York broadcast history, I have just read a book on one of
my heros, Othmar H. Amman. He was the Civil Engineer who designed six New
York City area bridges beginning with the George Washington and culminating
in the Verrazano-Narrows.

On page 165 of the book "Six Bridges", 2000, Rastorfer, Darl, Amman is
photographed at the dedication of the Bayonne Bridge addressing a WOR
microphone. It would be great to have a recording of that!
