The Miami / Coral Gables station is the somewhat notorious WRHC
1550 / 1560. They have had a number of CPs to move to 1560 and
even operated there for a year or so WITHOUT Program Test Authority.
Ask Herb Squires who was at WQEW during that period. WRHC got
a rather minor knuckle rapping, even though they were operating far
above CP power with a completely wrong pattern or ND.

I've fled the cold for a week and am in the Hollywood, FL, area. I
listened to 1560 this morning and only rather weak sigs, while there
is a good sig on 1550 - so I'd guess that WRHC is back on their old
1550 frequency. I don't understand Spanish well enough to get an ID from
the short time I listened. They now have a CP for a change of COL to
Kendale Lakes with a 3-wide, 2-deep somewhat distorted broadside
array.

One of the weird things I've discovered is that the FCC has issued a
CP for WRPL-L100 Low Power FM on 106.9 for Ft Lauderdale. That is
FIRST adjacent to a C0 on 106.7 licensed to Ft Lauderdale! You ask
how can this be? The answer is that the WRPL transmitter coords
are about 70 miles from Lauderdale out in the swamps. The FCC
works in wonderous ways.
