  It should.  Encourages me to dig out an old 3X2500F3 and see if I can make a super-regenerative with it.  But no dry cell filament supply!!   
   
  Willie...the important thing is how "sexy" does it look?  Get lots of fancy plastic trim, reflectors, see-thru ports to the inside and the brightly coloured resistors...give it a fancy and antique name, and then advertise it as the last one available.
