[BC] New Orleans - a matter of responsibility?

It's easy to justify Alan. They're simple to move about, not heavy for
carrying, each member of the family can have their own bottle(s), is more
sanitary in the event someone gets sick, can be stored in slimmer
locations/nooks/cranny's, etc.

I agree that having one large container for collecting water is a good
idea. We have 4 of them and a Forest Preserve water well hand pump which we
can fill a 5 gallon container in a few minutes is less than a couple miles
away. It's tested weekly so we know the water is good. However in a
pinch, we have the enough to get us through the instant crisis to the point
we could get over there and fill up.

NOW...that would be no good if the area there floods. Which it could
do...just like NOLA. So the bottom line is to be sure you can source
something. Which you do by a little well pump.
