I'll second that! Around here, the best place to get severe WX info is 
when the Skywarn 2 meter net is up. Trained WX observers, reporting info 
to the NWS in a clear, concise and professional manner. Then the talking 
heads on TV announce the warnings 3-7 minutes later. You know my 
feelings about TV news.
