[AF] WiFi is getting dangerous

Frankly, it's not important to me. My WiFi is encrypted and 
firewalled through hardware and software. None of my files are 
shared. I'm simply passing on what I was told by a communications 
attorney who deals with Internet issues every day. I guess we'll know 
for sure when the case against the guy using the cafe's signal sets a 
precedent, one way or the other. It'll probably be settled out of 
court and we'll never know for sure.

My distrust of the purity of the legal system was reinforced when 
they began applying RICO statutes to get people when they couldn't 
get them on the real offense. Every time I've asked attorneys about a 
law that seems very straightforward the answer has always been - sort 
of. It applies only on the second Thursday of the week if it's 
overcast and no one on the jury has a cold.
