[AF] 1350-mile FM DX

Early this afternoon I bested my own record for FM DX: 1350 miles.

The station was KTYS 96.7 "The Twister" from Flower Mound, Texas (a
Dallas/
Fort Worth rimshot), received on my '97 Volkswagen car radio in Bound
Brook, NJ.

Strangely, the signal was alternating with an undermodulated mono signal
on 96.7 playing country music.  That sounded like a pirate, but due to the
DX, who knows where it could've been from.

I caught an entire stopset and then the outro sweeper.  Somewhere in there
I heard a mention of "Country Thunder", and for a moment I thought I was
listening to Paul's old station (KYYZ)... but that one is on 96.1 MHz, not
96.7.  Then the sweeper clearly mentioned "The Twister" and Dallas.
