         Hi Lamar.

         I suppose I've held back on that, since most all
         members here are also members of BC and
         the BC faq covers most everything, except the
         relaxed topic range for AF:

         And, sure, there are some overlaps. I think a
         good example would be the Imus situation.
         Some of it clearly belongs on BC, but as the
         thread matured, it seemed like some were
         going round and round the same pole - and
         the thread was getting to be annoying to many.

         For the moment ... I don't want to necessarily
         exclude any and all discussion that starts to
         touch on sex, religion or politics (it seems to me
         that most all on this list probably do know where
         the boundaries should be), nor do I want to
         be a lawyer and try to detail exactly and arbitrarily
         what is OK and what is not.  What I will say is
         that we are not going to have any more mudfights
         over sexual orientation. And, no matter how nasty
         our industry gets with attack ads, this list will
         not be a haven for those who merely parrot a
         party line - no matter what party it is.

         Perhaps the whole thing can be best summed
         up this way: Play nice. Please.
