I'm not a bar person. I only drink at social events and dinner with
friends. However, I know very well that you never, ever, take your
eyes of your drink in a bar. There are many reasons for spiking a
drink beyond trying to convert you from a life of heterosexuality.
For women it's often an attempt at rape and for men it's often
burglary when the Good Samaritan that spiked the drink offers to help
the victim home. Talk to any big city police officer.

Most in the fields of Psychiatry and Psychology will dispute that.
One's orientation is formed at a very early age. There was/is a group
called Exodus that claims great conversion success. So much that the
two men who were their spokesmen are now life partners. I also doubt
that Ted Haggard's homosexuality was cured after three weeks of
church indoctrination. I'll bet he'll join the legacy of Jimmy
Swaggart in another motel room in the future. I'm curious. When did
you choose to be straight? Was it a place like voter registration
where you had to declare your political orientation? I checked with
the Town Hall and they don't have an orientation declaration
department. Not even a form to fill out.

How do you know that? If the other man's wife gains 100 pounds your
lust might go away on its own. That would make you a very superficial
person. She's still the same person, though a bit heftier. I
understand it's a deeply held, though inaccurate, religious belief
that changing orientation is simple. If that were true, it would be
very simple to change you into a homosexual. Logic has it it works
both ways. The fact that the children of gay couples tend to grow up
straight tells me it's built-in, not forced or chosen.

It isn't something I'm going to spend much time worrying about,
though I will continue to watch my drinks very carefully. I'm sure
I'd hate the headache I'm told results.
