Oh, come ON!!
1. Embryonic stem cells have only been proven to produce tumors in lab
rats. No cure for Alzheimer's is expected in this century, if ever.
Government funding of embyonic stem cells is demanded only because private
investors realize that there will be no ROI in their lifetimes. I doubt
whether the people pushing for government money (that's yours and mine)
really want to cure old people of Alzhemet's as much as they want to create
lucrative, lifetime lab jobs. Adult stem cells are already providing help
for human patients. Which one to put money on is, as they say, "a
no-brainer." Preventing Alzhemer's should be at least as important as
treating it, and that includes not drinking any beverages that come in
aluminum cans and never using anti-perspirant containing aluminum.
2. I would love to bring our troops home from Iraq. But, they should be
there to WIN and come home, instead of slinking back home in disgrace after
being hamstrung by politicians.
3. Killing gays already IS a crime. Murder is a crime. That shouldn't be
too hard to understand.
