[AF] It's a legacy!

Steve,

Your last sentence sums it up!

Are you under the impression that it is, by the hand of the president,
illegal to do stem cell research ? *It is not now, nor has it ever been
illegal in any of its many manifestations*. Whether the government
should provide funding for the research is all that was ever in
question. If the promise of a cure is so certainly imminent then the
private sector will provide more than enough funding. Involving the
government in the research will only slow things down.

Iraq is not a civil war! Look it up. The bulk of the fighters are not
nationals they are foreigners. People cannot on one hand cry that
Al-Qaeda had not connection to Iraq then claim that the current Al-Queda
sponsored violence in Iraq is not by foreigners. Would you suggest we
leave the people of Iraq to be overrun by Iran, Al-Queda, etc because of
our actions of removing Saddam? Very compassionate. Additionally, a
war of religious ideology is not a civil war it is a religious war.
Again, your last sentence sums it up

So called "Hate Crimes" are not domestic terrorism. The whole term is
an oxymoron. Terrorists are those who, by unconventional methods,
attempt to overthrow a government other than their own.
