was rather amusing. It makes a big deal about Imus' First Amendment
rights, which were never violated. But the funny thing was the writer's
assertion that the *FDA* "regulates all on-air content."
Really???
Silly me. I was under the impression that the government *could not*
regulate broadcast content, and certainly did not do so in the Imus
case. But, I'm not a world-famous First Amendment Lawyer, so how would
little ol' me know??? ;-) And I have a hunch that the Food and Drug
Administration would be surprised that they'd been given jurisdiction
over shock jocks...
