Larry, you're on the money!  Somewhere in my "archive" (translation: 
pile of old, old literature) is the one-sheet for the device - I think 
Q-Mat is it.  Flat, round, floppies.  Prone to all sorts of problems.  
Even so, became precursor of Slomo.  Yeah, a lot more technology; but 
still a spinning disc recording data magnetically. 

I'll look for the one-sheet over the holiday.
