The absolute best value out there are the stand alone routers that can take
alternative firmware (Tomato or DD-WRT). I've mentioned two of them already in
earlier posts. Asus makes a third one, The WL520GC. Newegg frequently has
these for around 40 dollars. Most Buffalo routers are also OK for this.

You need to be careful of the routers you choose however. You want one with at
least 4 megs of flash and 16 megs of RAM. Most consumer routers out there
today have about half those amounts-and are pretty useless for business use.
