[BC] tube replacement suggestions

To the assembled multitude:

I'm replacing a 3CX15000A7 in our Armstrong transmitter, and am faced with several choices. I can go rebuild from the two companies I know of that do this (Econco and Freeland), or buy a new tube, Chinese in manufacture, from an outfit called "D and C Electronics" out of Florida.

I wonder if anyone on the list has gone the new, Chinese tube route, and what your experiences have been. Also, I'd like to know if anyone's done business with D & C.

Feel free to reply off list if desired.

In case anyone is wondering, I will say publicly that the Armstrong transmitter (it's a FM-10000T2 model) we have has performed flawlessly over the past four years, and we've gotten very good service out of the original tube (another Chinese tube according to the manufacturer).
