[BC] Removing sticky residue

On a similar note, I finally found a product that will remove the gooo 
that is left by melting rubber feet, and other such rubber things that 
turn into a glob of black crud that gets all over everything. I had 
tried a whole battery of solvents with no positive results. Then one day 
I washed a pair of pants that I had accidentally got a big glob of the 
crud on. The end result was that the black tarry mess was all over the 
washer & drier and other clothes that were in the same load. Getting 
desperate I started trying what I had in the laundry room. BINGO!! Spray 
& Wash makes it run like water and removed it from all the clothes along 
with the washer & drier. Not to mention the remote mic connector of 
several EF Johnson trunking portables.
