[BC] Assistance With A DVD VCR Machine

My mother extremely hates her pile of boxes/ pile of remotes and, now,
can't record her show while watching another.
What pissed her the most is that she believed the commercials that DTV
would eliminate the "rabbit ears." Go figure.

She spends most of her TV time trying to diddle with the selector knob on
the rabbit ears to try to get a picture.  TV was tolerable last month even
with the snow.

She lives within eyeshot of the TX hill in Louisville KY.
