[BC] Sine Remote with AT&T Cellular now working

You might not get them to admit it, but probably AT&T patched the software in their wireless switch, and that is the difference.

 

I have had the reverse problem...AT&T handsets would not talk to Burk ARC-16 remotes, but no problems with Sines or a Burk GSC3000.  It had to do with the modem tone that is sent by the Burk ESI when it answers the phone.  Something about that tone made the switch stop hearing DTMF.

 

AT&T applied a patch (or several) in the local switch, and it sorta fixed the problem.
