This is the only stuff that I tried and it is truly broken. It creates an intermediate editable file in which one can muck with the tempo, etc. Afterward you can write the MIDI sequences. It is much harder to use this program and fix its errors than to just enter the MIDI using a MIDI keyboard (I use a MIDI piano).

For MIDI capture, editing, and writing charts (sheet music), I use "Home Studio." It is going the other way that is very difficult.
