Five wire feed is good to 10 kW, and that station is 5 kW days and
nights using the east-most three towers for days and the west-most
tower and the outer two of the three day towers for nights.

Open line is perfect for such a wide array (380 total degrees on 680,
about 1,520 feet).

To replace with coax, you would need upwards of 1,750 feet of line,
depending upon where the phasor was situated.

In very old installations such as this, the "phasor" is actually
distributed across all the ATUs.

There are others still in use which are like that.
