The Consumer Electronics Association is a plaintiff in a lawsuit 
challenging a new law in New York City that mandates free, 
door-to-door electronics collection, paid for by manufacturers.

CEA filed suit along with the Information Technology Industry Council 
(ITI) to challenge the law, which goes into effect at the end of July.
