"Am sitting here looking at photocopies of a 1943 Broadcast Yearbook.
Some of the "Network" listings are CBS, NBC, and "Blue"

Which network was "Blue" affiliated with?"

1943 was the year when the FCC decreed that NBC's ownership of two networks violated the 1940 "chain broadcasting" rules, and ordered NBC to either sell or shut down one of their networks. Edward J. Noble, the man who created Life Savers candy and who owned the Rexall drug store chain, purchased the Blue Network, which operated under that name until the following year, when it was renamed the American Broadcasting Company.
