I don't understand why it's taking them so long to get back on the air.
About 5 years ago, the transmitter site of one of my clients burnt down...I
mean nothing left but the skeleton of the transmitters and rack. Gone,
nothing left. They were back on the air at 250 watts within a couple of
hours. Had them back up to a kilowatt the next day and they had a new
building, new generator and two brand new Nautel transmitters within three
months. When something like this happens, get on the phone to Nautel. They
will have you a J-1000 transmitter on the next flight to Seattle. Being on
the air at 1000 watts is better than 0 watts. It seems now that a station
off the air isn't as big of a deal as it once was.

I'm also very suspicious of this heat related failure. I have seem MW50s
and BTA50s operate when the building temperature was over 100*.
