AP and others reporting building fire at Fisher Plaza in Seattle last 
night around 11pm local time.

Apparently, affected stations are running from backup facilities.

Not so lucky would be any datacenter customers.   According to what I 
have found the emergency generators were "fried" because they got 
sprayed by fire sprinklers.   If that's true, that's a pretty 
hair-brained setup.

We noticed because our main credit card processing company, 
Authorize.net, is located in the datacenter there.  They are now 
approaching 12 hours of downtime.   Ask any of their customers how much 
they enjoy not processing payments going into a holiday weekend.

So... how is YOUR backup plan?   How are you set for disaster recovery?
