[BC] IP Weirdness

It also could be a corrupted driver for the LAN card. Windows XP has that
happen sometimes. Last week Windows 'forgot' all my prefeences and I turned on
my computer to see a blank desktop greet me.

True but they are two different issues. Actually the force to 100 meg
comment is what started me thinking about the duplex issue.
