KGBT (analog 4, Harlingen, TX) now KGBT-TV signed on in I think 1954 (online FCC records only go back to 1978). Initials for Genevieve B Tichenor, wife of station founder McHenry Tichenor. The original radio station call (from 1949?) was KGBS, changed to KGBT on a date unknown to me. The Tichenor family is no longer involved in either operation (mores the pity for that).

WTTG Washington was named after him and it's likely the oldest
continuously-used TV call based on a person's name. I think it's
sixty years now.
