Nice to meet you Donna and Margaret. I just went through my stack of old RW
newspapers to see if I could find Margaret's "Broad in Broadcasting"
article, but no luck. I did find her review of the MTR-10.

I'll definitely get in touch with Leslie if I'm ever in Dallas. I'm still
trying to figure out if I can make it to the AM seminar this August, I think
it's in Texas somewhere. Maybe I can swing by her plant if I go to the
seminar.

I read a lot about Cecil Powell when I was studying for my ham exam, she
really inspired me. Most of my experience so far includes surface mount pcb
layout and prototyping, 3 years of tough AM experience (my intro to radio),
some FM experience, IT, and a lot of audio stuff. Now I just need to get
some TV experience. I think my CIE will cover some of the TV basics, and I
have a lot of books, but that's just not the same as hands on experience. I
don't think I could have understood AM without tuning an array and measuring
it, and I still have more to learn. I've just been lucky enough to have
excellent mentors. So far I think broadcast is the place for me, I just hope
things stabilize in the next few years...

Dana- I was wondering when someone would ask that question, I'm married to
Bill.

Donna- Bill wanted me to tell you hello, and ask if you remember meeting him
at WAVA, he was CE at DC101 when Dwight worked there.
