If you want to know how good or bad your PC audio is, just click on this link

For those who think it couldn't be quite as bad as it seems, you can
download the source-code from the web-page. The math is proof that
the distortion is very low (0.001% or better), amplitude exact, and
the tones are on frequency!

The code, originally for a Linux machine, was ported to Windows C/C++.
You can use the code to see how the basic ".wav" format goes together
and how digital tones can be generated using simple math.
