Abbreviated dBm ... decibels WRT one milliwatt.


For those who may have had an occasion to file a TV Form 301, TV  
power is not specified in kW, but in dBK ... decibels above one  
kilowatt ... apparently for easy computation of ERP in view of the  
various insertion losses encountered in TV work.
