I agree with Nat 100%!  I was handling 16 stations in the mid 
Willamette Valley in Oregon in the '80's and with the exception on one 
First Phone holder all the First Phones that I knew were active 
engineers.  The one that wasn't  was capable of some technical work 
and not a total waste.
