Larry,
What's been the trouble with it? It's it antenna problems? It wouldn't work at WQMA because of the ATU problems. Makes me wonder if one of Jason's buddies screwed with the ATU, not know what they were doing. Mine has been on since July of 04 with out missing a lick. I have found not to use the Armstorong with a series feed tower. Your tower must be ground with an unipole.

I have an Armstrong 1000B that has been nothing but trouble. Unless the one
I have is a lemon, I couldn't recommend a 1000B. (Sorry Ernie).

For a commerical station, even at a 5 KW facility, Energy Onix puts out a
rack mount 250 watt transmitter that the price tag runs under 4,000.00. The
would work fine until you got your main back up. For a commerical station,
I'd rather use the 250 watt solid state Energy Onix box, than the old tube
tig.

You can buy an Armstrong X1000B, 1 KW transmitter, Rack Mount, Solid State
for $9,400.00. They make a 500 watt box for a lesser price as well.
