[BC] Collins 300-G pictures

Mike,
I think the guy at Energy Onix is selling his 250 watt, rack mount
transmitter for less than 4000.00 now, and it may be a bit cheaper. For
a 1 KW station, that's a good investment. At 5 KW station, I would say
the old 1 KW tube rig would be ok for backup.

For us at 500 and 1 KW, the energy onix box would be the best of choice
for back up.

At less than $13K per TX complete, why use them in transient service.
Put them in and keep the old TX as the back-up.

Up to 5KW stations, a 1KW TX keeps the staton on the air at a reasonable
level. That $13K is a cheap insurance policy for those which want
something, but can't afford a full power TX.
