But that is the whole purpose of trying to satisfy the legal ID requirement
without disclosing you are not licensed to the market where you are trying
to get a number. The ID rules made some sense 30-40 years ago, but now, the
metros have sprawled over the "cities" to which many of the rimshots were
licensed. ID's, "first service," and "community service" seemingly have
vanished from broadcasting as concepts. Perhaps it is time the FCC woke up?
