Considering that translators as they currently stand posses zero protection 
rights and no protections from other services, the FCC has every right to 
issue primary service FM translators to Class D AM licensees.

All the various satellators will cry foul of course. But they knew the 
rules going in and that's simply too bad.  Local service of any type should 
trump services which have no local presence what-so-ever. That's what the 
LPFM'rs have argued.
