Already did that.  About a year ago it died one weekend (when else?)
700 volt supply fuse open. Short in the IPA socket.

Seeing that it was a Sunday & the 2.5H has a coax between the IPA and final cavity, I connected the MX-15 directly in, hoping I would get some output.

Came up with almost full licensed power (then 1100 watts--we're high on a hill). Turns out the IPA is little more than a buffer amp.  With a pending permit to increase power I would need 2400 watts (and 25 watts drive--too much for an MX), so I picked up an 802 A.  The BE will be replacing the Continental.
