Shortly after I sent that post, an idea hit me... Take out the redundent 
"pat2pdf/" from the url:

http://www.pat2pdf.org/pat2pdf/patents/pat3060389.pdf

And end up with this:

http://www.pat2pdf.org/patents/pat3060389.pdf

THIS one works! :)

Someone else posted a WEBsite of a Ham, who has a solid state version of 
this, with the values given.
