[BC] iPods in new car radios, "HD Radio" and Satelite Radio ignored?

I just put the new top of the line hard drive based pioneer Z1 Navigation
system in my car to replace the first generation pioneer unit that was
previously in there, that I carried over from a prior vehicle. It's got GPS
(with voice recognition to enter commands and addresses), a bluetooh speaker
phone, XM, and Sirius support built in, as well as a docking port for my
ipod. HD Radio wasn't even an available option; I'm not losing any sleep
over its absence in my vehicle either :)
