Reading about this incident sent chills up my spine a bit. I was at an AM TX site here in Indianapolis late one night working on an AM TX doing maintenance. I left the door open a bit since it was a nice night. No lights in front of the building except just at the front door so it's kind of hard to see the TX building from the road at night.

Apparently someone called the sherriff's office about someone being at the site late at night and I'm in back of the TX working when someone yells out real loud "Who's in here?". I jumped out from behind the TX with a large screwdriver in my hand which, who knows, might have looked like a weapon or something. He jumped and I jumped again but luckily that's all. The deputy scared the living crap out of me. I remember he had his hand either on or real close to his gun when I jumped out from behind the TX but I don't remember if it was still in its holster or not. We laughed about it afterwards and he then promised to mention this to other cops so they know someone might be at that TX site late at night and to tread more carefully when approaching.

Best Regards,
