[BC] RE: Old Broadcast Quad Machines

OK, now you guys have done it... I'm going to go home this evening and pull
out my VR-1200 manuals.  ISTR some kind of modification, or something, in
those books that also applied to the VR-1000...

My alma mater, the University of Iowa, had an early VR-1000.  By the time
I was in school, it was stored inoperative in a hallway, but earmarked for
a museum-type display in the department's new building, once built.

Unfortunately, some idiot from the Surplus Property office came along,
and that VTR is now landfill somewhere near Iowa City, along with the CCU's
for three TK-11's.  Grrr....
