How about an ITC triple decker that has the middle deck playing fast?

    Got called into the studio. My then boss, Dave Gale, pointed to the 
3D and said, check it out. Same cart, same song, and the middle deck was 
a good 5% fast. How can that happen, when there is but one shaft that 
drives all three decks?

    One errant cart had a label not attached too well, and it became 
stuck on the capstan shaft, just on the middle deck.

    Go figure. One story for the retirement home.
