One of the rumors was in fact that there was a threat that may have cost
Tribune one of their TV stations.
I don't know if I am the longest in one place, but it will be 38 years
in January. Not bad, considering when I started I was only figuring for
2-3 years.

Indeed. That was the era of the
General Tire (RKO) ... perhaps
there was a threat against the TV
stations?
