SEVERAL FOLKS REFERED TO:

Could be those stations have a Thump Tower.  The tallest and most luxorious tower in their market.  Eminating Velvety sounds unlike what can be heard anywhere else.  
 
Of course the chief at that station is always looking for an apprentice.
