[BC] TV tower kills birds

Consider that this tower was in Madison, Wisconsin. Probably someone from  
PETA spread the dead birds around the base of the tower to make a point.

I used to see dead birds around my tower all the time at our combined  
site.  Then we got rid of the stray cats the DJ's kept feeding.  Then  
there are the drunken blackbirds.  Talk about "birdies in your signal."   
They would go eat the wild grapes at the nearby wildlife santuary on an  
island in the Ohio river, then decide that my tower is a great place to  
err..., let things work their way through.  When the grapes get overripe,  
they sometimes seem to have a hard time perching on the tower, antenna, or  
anything else. Nothing like pulling into the parking lot and trying to  
dodge a pie-eyed blackbird: "Blackbird singing in the dead of night..stay  
away from the roof of my car!"
