In my ongoing research, I see that Nautel has one they call "Jazz" which, 
although larger, is still rack-mountable and even includes a special "kit" to 
make it useable for multi-station backup. (IOW, it's precisely what we're looking 
for!) I have a call in to Nautel, now.

Any other suggestions from others in the "Brain Trust" are welcome, of course!
