Rollovers generally aren't' as back about whacking you in the back of
the head as a front end collision. Thinking along those lines everything
is kept packed below the seat top level. With soft stuff behind the driver.
For rollover protection the seat belt is still the most important device.
If you're not wearing one, you have no idea where your head will end up
during the collision, or if your body will still be attached to it when
it gets there.
A common killer I've see is boom speakers sitting on a back deck of a
vehicle. During a front end collision they reposition themselves to the
front windshield or beyond. If you happen to be in the way, well you
might be in the running for a Darwin award.
