[BC] Bauer/Sparta 603

Back in the late '70's, a college station I volunteered for had a Cetec
exciter/250 watt SS transmitter. One night they were off (carrier on but no
audio) for naintenance and I was at the tx wanting to calibrate the Moseley
TRC-15 remote control with the station. I called and called the studio on the
phone but no one answered. Finally, in frustration, I cupped my hands over the
front of the exciter and yelled: "Call the transmitter!". 30 seconds later the
TX phone rang. They had heard me loud and clear on the air monitor....

Got microphonic?
