[BC] Bauer/Sparta 603

Yes a different vintage(version) I guess.  It is a Bauer 603. 3 kilowatt.
I don't know the history. I guess it was made prior to the G-G model.
Years ago I called Paul Gregg and ordered a manual.
I received a manual for the G-G model. Called him back and described the
TX I had and the tube configuration. He said "oh...that one" and sent
me a manual.

The 4CX250 ipa has some kind of transmission line tank circuit that was
tapped at the 180 degree point to provide out of phase drive to one
of the P-P finals. The end of the line drove the other one.
A real b*tch to balance the drive to the finals. Very touchy.

Inductive coupled transformer type output from the finals with no
loading control. A fixed(manual adjustable) shorting bar for loading.

Sounds like a great transmitter so far? <grin>
