[BC] The Worst Transmitter of All Time

As one member on this list who had experience with a VP-50, it wasn't that
the transmitter was that bad-- it was generally on the air. It just
couldn't be pushed real hard. Generally we had peaks at 85% if we were
lucky. I only recall one time when it was off the air in the short time I
worked at KXEL, and I recall that was due to a failure in the IPA circuit.
The Westinghouse HG worked for a short while on the air, then died as well.
Finding good deionized water was a another story.

I'll probably get flamed for this one, but the Continental 316 (10 KW) in my
mind was a real booger when she blew.
