[BC] Should Skywave Listening protection continue?

What hope will there be for small stations at night? It's not a high income 
time period and will be nearly unlistenable with IBOC hash coming from all 
directions. I wonder how many will just give up and become voluntary 
daytimers or will local IBOC generate enough hash to overcome distant hash?
